The 10th edition of Best Engineer kicked off on 3rd October 2024 at Government Engineering College Barton Hill, Thiruvananthapuram. The first round involved an aptitude which was open to all first-year students. Over 325 students participated, out of which 17 students advanced to the second round based on their performance in the aptitude test. The second round was a situational debate competition, which was held on October 15th and 16th.17 students who were selected from the previous round were eligible for this round. The debate aimed to assess their critical thinking and problem-solving skills through analysing and responding to complex scenarios.
BEST ENGINEER 10.0
The final round was an HR interview that evaluated the participant’s communication skills, leadership potential, and professional demeanour. 5 participants shortlisted from the previous round competed against each other. After an intense competition, Bharat Raj from S1 ECE emerged as the winner and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000. By supporting young engineering talent, Best Engineer 10.0 showed its dedication to encourge innovation and excellence in the engineering field.
